The Responsible Care® programme
 |
Where the manufacture of chemicals is concerned it is essential that great care is taken with the environment. Arch Water has joined the global Responsible Care® initiative and strives to minimise hazard situations for individuals and the environment.
Our Amboise site is SEVESO II-classified and as such is subject to strict regulations governing the protection of individuals and the environment. But the group goes further than that and has introduced stringent day-to-day responsible practices. From the manufacture of products itself to optimising our packaging and including waste recycling, no stage in the manufacturing process is left to chance. |
|
Arch Water Products France respects its workforce, its materials and their impact on the environment and works daily to further its "responsible company" approach. |
Product analysis and quality monitoring, strict compliance with the safety standards, protection of persons, waste management… these are just some of the fundamental commitments made by Arch.
The Arch Group's commitment to responsibility:
We in the Arch Group consider that it is our responsibility to constantly strive to improve in what we do so that we can continually work towards the objective that has been set to achieve zero accidents, injuries and harm to the environment. Our expression within the Arch Group of this Responsible Behaviour philosophy, committed internationally in the Responsible Care® programme, is embodied in our 'Goal is Zero' corporate initiative.
'Goal is Zero' objective
In addition to our commitment to responsibility, the entire Arch Group has a 'zero accidents' objective, in other words minimal risk for optimum prevention and safety of individuals.
Industrial accidents, chemical hazards and environmental waster must be kept close to zero risk. As in the United States, at Arch's European sites we are in fact concentrating all our expertise on reaching this objective.
